Those tiny little things called TABS!

Hello, my name is Veronica and I'm a tab maniac.  There, now you know.  I also love labels but I'm not quite a maniac in that department yet though sometimes I get carried away... see what I mean?
I also have a thing for dividers, stationary, and beautiful purses but today I'd like to focus on sticky TABS, and a new kitchen product that totally made my week!  Tabs are brilliant, they help me find our favourite recipes quickly...
They also help me remember and quickly retrieve important information in useful books.  Time is money sanity, people.
Tabs allow me to divide journals, organize my children's homework so maybe  they can be a little more like me..., and quickly access information in my agenda.  I dream of the day magazines will come equipped with a master page full of sticky tabs so I can mark pages to my heart's content!  Is that too much to ask?

I should also say I'd pay Ikea good money for a catalogue like this one, though I would still insist on adding my personal tabs, of course...
So now that you understand how I feel about tabs, try to imagine my Latino seizure surprise when I saw this Joseph Joseph set of chopping boards!!  The set comes nicely organized on a stand, are not only colour coded but has labelled tabs. You need to cut-up some meat?  Simply pull on the red tab et voilà!  The veggie board is green, the fish is blue, and the white is for bread and other foods.  I simply love a smart product.  And it's not all... they're priced at $22.79, merci Costco for putting my name all over these beauties.
So I was quick to bring my new boards home, and proceeded to get rid of our old ones.
As we all try to move away from wooden chopping boards (they're pretty impossible to clean) I think this set is perfect for any kitchen and would make a terrific gift.  The price is unbeatable, the design is awesome, they will help us stay healthy, and organized to boot!

So there you have it, this concludes 'the find of the century week' post and my addiction to tabs - sticky or otherwise.  What do you think of these boards?  Are you a tab maniac like me?

  1. I think the magazine Loulou came with sticky tabs you could use...with wonderful phrases like "I want it!" "Must have." "Love it."
